she was a volunteer social worker assigned to work in a catholic orphanage in the capital of mongolia. she arrived in february, and was supposed to stay for a year. but for one too many reasons, now she has left UB for good.

they were former vso volunteers in mongolia. eric was a filipino business adviser and becky was a canadian nurse trainer. they were both assigned in the southern countryside where they met and fell in love.

farewell for rayso

rayso is a filipino vso volunteer in mongolia. she came in february 2007 as a short-term volunteer.

PART 1: had lunch at margie's place. main dishes were chicken adobo in sesame and ginisang munggo. there was choco bombe (chocolate cake with crushed chilis by joe) and water melon (courtesy of david and gek) for dessert.

PART 2: this was max's (who was absent) idea - to have dinner at rayso's flat. we had tinola to the max (coz there was a lot! thanks max!) and laing (taro leaves in coconut milk).
